Producer/Writer/Director

I work within large groups of people, often new clients and new locations each day. My ability to repeatedly acquire the needed images and maintain a schedule has been the basis of my success in a very competitive industry. I am able to take direction, give instructions to a crew and adjust expectations along the way all to implement the project.

Motion and Still Photographer

As an Owner/Operator or as a sub-contractor, I am tasked with implementing a visual look determined in pre-production. Once onset, I efficiently set-up the planned equipment on location and work with PR/Marketing professionals to capture requested images in a timely and creative matter.

I am in my second year as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructor in the Lake Worth Independent School District. The scope of my curriculum includes Video and Audio Editing and Production, Illustration and Graphic Design, as well as, Commercial Photography.

Much of the curriculum for all three of my disciplines comes from my video and still photography work experience and relationships with professionals in those related fields.

2017–2015 Independent Director of Photography/Producer

Being independent allows me to work on a variety of projects where I am able to be involved in many different production environments from Producer, DoP, Camera Operator to Gaffer. I operate professional video camera systems and combine studio, stage and location light kits to fulfill clients’ video production requirements.

2013 – 2015 EFFORT Staffing - Senior Producer

I was hired to promote and market multiple businesses within an umbrella company using my experience in video production and social media. My job as Senior Producer/Director of Photography reflects the multitude of hats required to execute high quality visual campaigns in a cost effective project plan. I helped plan, research, write, shoot and edit all the projects requested by the parent company. Our two man team promoted a staffing company, a project management company, a professional automotive racing team, as well as several external clients.

1997 - 2013 Independent Director of Photography/Producer

I have worked with many Fortune 500 corporations like Toyota, HP, Alcon, BNSF, Radio Shack and several others. Depending on the project, I was regularly required to light and shoot their video projects. For more than a decade, Reality TV played a huge part in the local D/FW motion picture production economy. I operated camera on many RealityTV shows, day-played on a few documentaries and shot several local commercial spots. I worked several movies in both the Grip and Electric departments; and shot a couple short features that were entered into Film Fests. I worked with Mark Cuban's video production company, HDNet, many times when they were shooting their live music show with Katie Dayrl. I have been involved in shooting many music videos, fishing shows and I even followed a local high school football team for an entire season as they made their way to the Texas 5a quarterfinals. I have shot auto racing and action sports extensively, primarily working with the Pirelli World Challenge, for two different teams.

1992—1997 Commercial Producer/Editor: KVC Ch. 13 & KTBC Ch.7

I worked directly with the sales department where I wrote, shot and edited all the commercials for the Austin based television stations. In the buyout, both KVC 13 and the new Fox 7 were combined to make the station roster complete. In the earlier years at Fox 7, many of the original KTBC staff were let go after the takeover and only a bare-bones staff remained.
